think of the vibrant freckled faced blue eyed young women who i first met perhaps in the early 80"s. but my most important memory of Drora is in 1989 when we were both at the International conference of jewish feminists. the first and last one of its kind, sponsored by the AJC. and Drora was on the phone all the time. Later I found out she was organizing the meeting, the first of its kind, of Israelis and Palestinians, with some American Jews helping the process. she was a brilliant woman. May she be remembered..
