Cherna Moskowitz z"l
Cherna, together with her late husband Dr. Irving Moskowitz, z"l, were deeply committed to Zionism, the State of Israel and championed many philanthropic ventures in Israel and abroad
At Bar-Ilan University, Cherna established the Moskowitz Chair in Land of Israel Studies, and the Moskowitz Security Research Floor. She supported the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine, the Doctoral Fellowship of Excellence program, the Returning Scientist initiative, and career development for Ethiopian students. Bar-Ilan University is honored to have had Cherna as a friend and Board member for decades. She was a sterling role model of a true Eshet Chayil, whose midot and character were a shining example to us all. May her name and memory be for a blessing
